Philadelphia, June 26, 2014—The 4th annual BIG Corrosion Expo was held in the Victory Beer Hall at Xfinity Live!. Professionals from the refinery and storage industries gathered for a thorough discussion of corrosion causes, prevention, and cost-saving repair techniques.
Guests were able to socialize and network during breakfast before taking their seats for the half-day seminar. In-depth topics presented by industry experts included: Key Steps to Reduce Risk of CUI and Cost of Ownership, Corrosion Mitigation on Storage Tanks, Preventing CUI by Design, and Corrosion Solutions.
Shortly before lunch, guests donned hearing and eye protection while exiting the building for a live demonstration of the environmentally friendly Cleanerblast dustless surface preparation system.
After the demo, a buffet style lunch of hamburgers and brats was served as guests mingled and enjoyed the World Cup Soccer match between U.S.A. and Germany.
The event was another BIG success with over 100 people in attendance!
